We are just over a month away from celebrating the fashion event in Panama. On October 13, 14, and 15, the Mercedes Benz Panama Fashion Week 2016 will take place, an event eagerly awaited by bloggers, photographers, media, and fashion lovers; a space where we celebrate the local and international talent of designers who, for three days, present their collections along the runway. In this context, a "Preshow" was held at the new Mercedes Benz branch in Santa María, where the designers who will present their collections in October created a look with a distinct and original theme.
The production challenged them to abandon their comfort zone and use DENIM as the protagonist. "Jeans themselves have their variations; you can use a very rigid and sporty textile, or you can use a jean with a lot of drape, which is very fluid and soft. The fabric itself is not complicated; the most difficult part was interpreting it when you are focused on other types of textiles," designer Olga Recio told us.
The result was a runway in the middle of the agency with a total of 13 looks created by various designers, including: Tony Vergara, Olga Recio, Greta Bayo, Graciela Lasso, Moisés Sandoya, Ana Franchesca Blasser, Annie Chajín, Andrea Sousa, Lidia Minota, and Verónica Angel, among others.
