Last Friday, October 14, Spanish designer Olga Recio brought her colorful style to Fashion Week Panama, where she also offered attendees the opportunity to enjoy the workshop "Fashion: Reality and Fiction", which took place this weekend.
Born in Barcelona, Recio defines herself as a citizen of the world. With a multicultural background, her collections are characterized by the exquisite selection of fabrics, worked through pure lines and full of haute couture details.
Design and fashion fascinated her since adolescence, the same passion that led her at 17 to leave her native Barcelona to begin her fashion studies in Paris and later in New York, where she began her career alongside famous designers such as Christian Dior, Anne Klein, Oscar de La Renta, Armani, among others.
Today, her style synthesizes her time in more than eight countries, where she experienced such versatile and rich cultures in Africa, Europe, and America. This is how her collections denote an interesting fusion between European elegance and Latin flavor.
